Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard®

There are 3 levels of Citi AAdvantage credit cards. There is the Bronze, Gold and Platinum. All the Citi AAdvantage World MasterCard offers give you bonus miles after your first purchase. Bronze offers you 5000 bonus Miles, the Gold AAdvantage card gives you 12500 Miles but in year 2 has an annual fee of $50 and finally there is the Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard® which gives you 15000 bonus Miles after your first purchase.

The rewards earnings with the Platinum card are the same as that with the Gold card however the Gold card allows you to earn up to 60,000 Miles per year and the Platinum AAdvantage MasterCard gives you up to 100,000 bonus miles. As with the Gold Card, the Platinum rewards card has no annual fee in the first 12 months so you can take advantage of the extra 2500 bonus Miles and not have to pay an annual fee until next year.

Citi® Platinum Select® / AAdvantage® World MasterCard® is best suited for very frequent flyers because of the higher earnings allowed with the card. If you are a moderate traveller then the Citi Bronze or Gold AAdvantage offers might be better suited for you.
