    Chase Freedom Credit Card Confusion

Some readers at Crediteria were a little confused about a recent change with Chase Freedom. Chase has decided to rename this credit card from Chase Freedom Cash Visa Signature Card to simply the Chase Freedom Credit Card.

I guess the official name of the card was a bit wordy so they shortened for simplicity sake. OK, I am just guessing that's why. Who knows though, maybe the name change gets more folks applying for the Freedom Card.

In case you have been thinking about the Freedom Card here are the current details about the offer:

Getting $50 cash back after your first purchase and having the ability to earn the most points where you spend the most make this one of the best consumer credit cards on the market.

Another feature that really makes Freedom stand out from other rewards credit cards is getting rewards when you cash-in your points. Chase will give you $50 cash every time you earn and redeem $200 in rewards.

    That's really cool!

    Chase Freedom

The Chase Freedom Card is one of the best credit card rewards programs on the market today. With the rewards you get you will no longer have to chase down the best offers because this card gives you everything you want in a credit card.

The rewards start the moment you make your first purchase with the Chase Freedom credit card. After you apply and receive your card simply buy something and you get instantly rewarded with a cash back bonus of $50!

That’s right 50 bucks just for using your Chase Freedom rewards card. You also get rewarded your unique spending habits. Chase gives you the most rewards on the top 3 spending categories and 1% rewards on all other purchases. Plus you get $50 every time you earn and redeem $200. Now that’s something special, you get rewarded for using your rewards

Most credit cards reward you on specific items such as gas at a particular gas station or merchandise from a specific store. Chase Freedom gives you the freedom to earn maximum rewards on how you spend your money.

If you are thinking about applying for a credit card then this is the card you must consider, there has never been a rewards program quite like the Freedom Card from Chase.

Chase Card Offers with Generic Rewards

The hottest consumer credit cards that people are signing up for at Crediteria.com are the offers from Chase. The selection of Chase cards is incredibly vast, they have designed rewards cards for literally every demographic.

The line up of offers available through Chase right now is second to none! Crediteria.com has always been a fan of their offers and the voice of the masses has spoken.

Let's take a look at some of the general reward Chase credit cards now to see why they are so popular.

    Chase Freedom Visa Signature Card

Chase recognizes that your spending habits do change and gives you the freedom to earn top rewards no matter how your credit card purchase habits change. There are 15 spending categories in total to cover typical consumer spending such as groceries, gas, drug stores, ISP's, convenience stores plus tons of other stores and restaurants. At the time of publishing this article, Chase is offering a 3% rebate on you top spending sources and a 1% rebate on all other purchases.

Chase also offers the Chase Freedom MasterCard with similar rewards in case you prefer a MasterCard over a Visa.

Chase Contractor Cash Rewards Visa Signature Business Card

As previously mentioned Chase truly does have a credit card for every unique individual. Here is a Chase credit card designed specifically to reward contractors.

At the time of publishing this article, Chase is offering 2% cash back on the purchase of building and construction supplies.

As every contractor knows, having no pre-set spending limit is very important especially for those big jobs. There's nothing more frustrating than having to buy partial supplies and then go pay your credit card balance before getting all the material you need on one trip.

The Chase Contractor Cash Rewards credit card is the perfect financial tool for any builder.

    Chase Flexible Rewards Visa Card
The first feature to note about the Chase Flexible Rewards Visa is there is no annual fee. Typically rewards credit cards have fees of anywhere between $50 and $200 per year. Not the Flexible Rewards card from Chase, it's fee free!

Next great feature about this Chase card is the fact that you earn 1 point for every eligible dollar spent and you can start redeeming points when you reach 1000.

    Chase PerfectCard

With the rising price of fuel, the Chase PerfectCard could be the perfect solution to softening the blow at the pumps. You earn 3% back on eligible gasoline purchases at all gas stations, not just a select few as most gas card cards offer. Plus you get rewarded on all other purchases as well.

The PerfectCard from Chase is another card that has no annual fee which is a very nice perk as well.

    Chase Home Improvement Rewards

Are you a do-it-yourself handyman and thinking of a major home renovation project?

If so your first tool should be a financial savings tool. That's what the Chase Home Improvement Rewards card is like, a renovation discount tool.

At the time of publishing, you get up to 3 points on home improvement purchases and 1 point on all other purchases plus you get the benefit of no annual fee with this card which adds up to even more money in your pocket.

Continental Airlines World MasterCard from Chase

The Continental Airlines World MasterCard is a good choice for those who have good credit and who frequently travel with Continental Airlines. Through their Airline Rewards Program, you will receive one mile for every dollar spent on your card with no yearly limit and the miles do not expire. This is a great feature because with other reward programs there generally is a limit incurred. Another advantage is that the accumulated miles can be combined with Continental's Frequent Flyer Program plus a cardholder can receive up to 11 miles per dollar at participating restaurants. See their website for full details.

Apply for your card and upon approval you will instantly receive 10,000 bonus miles after your first purchase and the annual fee payment of $85.00. It comes with a low introductory interest rate of 7.9% for six months that can be used for purchases and balance transfers to pay off high existing loans or cards. Be sure to make all payments on time during this period or this deal will immediately be forfeited and you will pay a much higher interest rate. Also, be aware that any cash advances you take out will come at a very high rate of 19.99% so you especially want to be sure to pay the amount back as soon as possible to avoid the high interest charge.

I think this card is a great choice for those who can pay their balance in full each month after the introductory rate expires to avoid costly payments and interest charges. This MasterCard is ideal for those who fly with Continental airlines so they can redeem a free ticket or the other great services it has to offer.

Continental Airlines Platinum Card from Chase

The Continental Airlines Platinum Card from Chase is designed for those who fly frequently with Continental Airlines. Their reward program offers one mile for every dollar spent on the card with no yearly limit. Earned miles do not expire and they also can be combined with Continental's frequent flyer program for even quicker savings. Another great feature you will have with this card is the double miles that are awarded when you use your card at participating retailers, when you order airline tickets online or at the ticket booth. Also earn up to eleven additional miles per dollar spent at certain participating restaurants.

New applicants will be awarded 10,000 bonus miles when the annual fee of $65 is paid and other benefits include $500,000 in travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance plus travel and emergency assistance services plus more. Upon acceptance of your card, you will enjoy a low introductory rate of 7.99% for up to 6 months but thereafter a rate of 15.74% will apply, so at this time it is important to pay your balance in full to avoid any high interest payment. Two more important features you should be aware of is the high interest rate of 21.74% on cash advances you plus if you are late on any payment during the introductory time period, you rate will be raised immediately.

This card is a good choice if you can afford to pay in full each month after the introductory rate expires and it is especially great for Continental Airline passengers who want to take advantage of their great rewards program.
