Credit Crunch Got You Down
If the issues around the subprime credit crunch has started to take control of your every waking thought then you must stop and consider how the world works.
The world does work on money and those that can't make their mortgage payments due to some very poor lending practices do not have to impact your life on bit.
In fact rather than screaming "oh no, here comes a major recession", you should jump for joy at the immense opportunity that stares you in the face right now.
You should immediately cease thinking and believing what you have been taught growing up. You know, the stuff like "go to school, get good grades and find a safe and secure job"
My friend, that thinking is of the old world. That kind of thinking used to work. To make it in today's world that on the surface appears to be unraveling at the seams you must change the way you think.
Stop thinking about trying to find a better paying job, you likely won't. You are better served creating your own source of income, one that you are in full control of.
You must start considering business opportunities. There are tons of them out there.
In fact, if you are reading this right now, not only do I operate this website. I also run a mentorship program where I show people exactly, step by step, what they need to do to turn their passion into a cash producing machine.
I know you are likely skeptical and that is why I have produced a free report where I show you how to get traffic to a website leveraging new opportunities on the internet.
You can download my free internet marketing report here and I think you will be inspired and if you take action on the information provided, you can be making extra money faster than you ever dreamed possible.

Bankrate Buys NCS Reporting
Bankrate.com acquired the credit card marketing company, NCS Reporting last week for $26.4 in cash and $7 million in potential payment based on performance over the next 2 years.
When Scott and Robert Langdon launched their credit card site in 2001, they likely never thought they would enjoy such a lucrative buyout. They deserve it they have worked very hard to establish relations with their affiliates, such as myself.
Of course, the question several NCS affiliates have in mind is "what does this mean for current NCS partners, affiliates and online sales staff?"
I just got off the phone with an NCS insider and his view on what this likely means for affiliate partners is higher commissions on credit card referrals.
Now that NCS Reporting is owned by the financial giant Bankrate, the ability for NCS to get bank CEO's on the phone and cut direct deals is much higher and that means one less middle man in the process.
Fewer middlemen translate directly to higher margins. Higher margins mean possibly higher commissions for affiliate partners.
I will be in discussions with NCS Reporting over the next few months to discuss higher payouts and closer partnership with them.
The results of my discussions with NCS Reporting will be posted here.
If you have any comments, I would like to hear your take on Bankrate.com's latest acquisition.

RevolutionCard Online Payment Revolution On
Steve Case, co-founder of AOL, has dropped hints that Revolution LLC, his new business venture could be providing cheaper online money transactions for both consumers and business owners.
This is great news considering the current high cost of transferring money online right now. For me personally, services such as PayPal are fabulous because I can instantly receive money however the costs to receive payments are very high.
The RevolutionCard is set to transform the foundation of how online payment processing is done.
Revolutionizing Consumer Safety
The RevolutionCard will protect consumers from identity fraud because it is PIN (Personal Identification Number) based, which means if your card is lost or stolen your personal information is secure because your PIN must be keyed in to use the card.
Another key feature to protecting your identity is there are no account numbers nor does your name appear on the card so there is no possible way for a would-be identity thief to get your personally identifying information from the card
Business Owners Increase Margins
The Revolution MoneyExchange service will cut merchant payment processing costs by as much as 75% giving businesses greater profit margins.
While money savings is a key feature to accepting payments, the Revolution Card will give you more options to accept payments including from mobile devices such as cell phones. Plugins to instant messenger services such as AIM will also allow for money transfers from your friends list.
Revolution MoneyExchange will also allow for greater flexibility by enhancing your loyalty rewards programs and allow you to launch co-marketing campaigns with greater ease.
Now, I must go apply for this program to get my online processing costs down. Currently I am paying as much as 8.9% transaction fees with my payment processor.

Business Travel and Expense Sheets
Fellow business owners and entrepreneurs please allow me to give you some of the best advice that will save you time and money.
When you travel on business and rack up tons of charges on your credit card, update your expense sheets immediately.
Update your expenses while on the road, this will ensure your records are 100% accurate. It will only take a minute of your day and the cash savings come at tax time because you have been diligent enough to perform the "Millionaire Minute".
Yeah, I just returned home from 5 days on the road from Carl Galletti's Internet Marketing Superconference in Las Vegas where I gave a presentation.
Now I am home and don't have to figure out what all the receipts were for. I did my credit card expenses at the conference!
Do the same in your business and live with more peace and more money.

Business Credit Card Reviews Coming
I know, it's been a few days since I posted any reviews or info about credit cards.
Been a very busy entrepreneur here, I see opportunity and I jump at it. You see, not too long ago I had a magazine feature a full 3 page article about me and my online endevours.
Because of that I have been working far too hard at producing a training program to teach folks (and businesses) about solid techniques to establish their online marketing message.
The coaching program is called "The Fly on the Wall Club" ( http://www.flyonthewallclub.com ) and as a result I have felt a compelling need to review in much more depth all the business credit cards available, in particular cards for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
I take all my businesses very seriously, including Crediteria.com, and I do a lot of the day to day management to ensure absolute excellence in service to my readers.
I don't let my employees have free run at my online endevors because the online world is a very fluid place and must make sure my message is not compromised. . .
Having said that, I have personally selected a handful of credit cards for business owners and those personally selected credit cards are in the hands of my research team to investigate futher.
Once they have conducted research regarding the best rewards, interest rate and several other rating criteria I will be personally reviewing the offers and posting only the best business card deals on Crediteria.
Please check the Business finance section of the site frequently to view the best business credit cards on the market today.
I will have these card listed, including online applications, on the left side menu for you to choose which credit cards fits your business needs.
Wishing you the best in your business endevors!

First Credit Card Signals Progess in Third World Country
In a country known for it's corruption, scams and robberis, Ecobank Nigeria Plc is pressing on with delivering the first naira credit card.
The thought behind this card? Lessen the amount of cash transactions and hopefully robberies will drop.
Do I think this will solve the problems that run rampant in the country? No, it may slow robberies but certainly not eliminate them. I think it will limit losses as a credit card can be cancelled.
But I see the potential of this actually creating more violence in Nigeria. Think about it. No longer can thieves run off with their victims cash, they will now be running off with their credit card.
Hmmm, if that credit card can be cancelled and the thief would like to gain from the robbery what I think is going to happen is more incidents of kidnapping.
I do hope that the Naira credit card will bring an economic boost to the region, economic boost leads to job creation and those jobs eliminate poverty. Poverty is the root cause of the problems in the country.
It will be interesting to see if the Naira based credit card will have an impact on the Nigerian ecomony.

Credit Card Spending Has It's Place
As 2007 is fast approaching I have been reviewing and developing my business plans for the upcoming year.
My business relies heavily on the use of my credit card as I operate predominately online and the most common form of payment is a credit card.
This is good use of a credit card because I invest in certain aspects of my business which produce a return on investment for me.
Now, as far as frivilous spending goes, credit cards can be disastrous!
I challenge you to have your credit card provide a return on investment this year - Yeah, Mike this one's for you :)
One last thought; What I love about my credit card is the free trips that result from the points I earn.
I spend "real money" on business trips as they are a write-off and I use the points earned to take family vacation at no cost! Well, other than food and entertainment, the travel and hotel is free.
I have a review of the credit card I use here, if you are interested

Proverty Elimination to End Terrorism
I just read a story on the Associated Press wire about Economist Muhammad Yunus being award the Nobel Peace Prize in his efforts to end terrorism by ending proverty.
Think about that for a moment and remember the saying; "Money is the root of all evil".
Money is not necessarily the cause of evil but if those suffering from proverty are enticed to do evil and in return receive money or food for that matter don't you think that eliminating poverty might cease many would-be terrorists.
Those in destitute situations will do desparate things in order to survive. Perhaps simply putting food on the tables of those in need could end a lot of evil that happens in the world.
Muhammed Yunus is out to change the world by providing small unsecured loans to impoverished people to start businesses.
When the poor and destitute and start a business, they are able to provide jobs to other poor people in their region and a viral effect of poverty elimination is created.
Part of my business is coaching others to success.
Muhammed, if you manage to find this blog entry, please contact me as I would love to help in even a small way in furthering your cause of world peace.
It can be done and I can help!

Continual Education Is Key to Bussiness Success
I am taking a bit of a break right now as I am educating myself on many facets of my home based business. An important element of any business is educating yourself on emerging technologies, competitor strategies and changes in the consumer marketplace.
I have spent days trying to learn something new on my own and suddenly it hit me like a ton of wet noodles (ok, weird metaphor but that's what it felt like). By spending all this time trying to figure out everything on my own, I am loosing money. Now would be a good use of my credit card.
Rather than try to learn everything on my own, I am going to invest some money into my education. Spending money on education saves time and will allow me to grow my business at lightning speed ultimately earning my business more money and earning it faster.
I am off to evaluate some training courses now.

Growing Your Business Online
For new business owners who are looking to boost their business through an affiliate channel on the internet you will need to spend considerable time to think about:
1. What your product really is. Yeah, it's a blue widget but what makes your widget so special. What spin can you put on your product
2. Who is your target audience? I suggest building a mailing list and start polling your potential customers. Heck, you might want to try phoning a few potential customers to get inside their head.
3. Take this information and produce some compelling advertising copy for your affiliate partners to work from.
4. Nail down your terms and conditions:
A. Spend time to think about what terms you allow (or disallow) your affiliates to bid on.
B. Are you going to allow your affiliate partners to bid on your competitor names?
C. Your affiliate channels have liberty to do almost anything they want on their websites. Think about what you want to prevent your partners from saying. Think about any potential to damage your business and add it to your T&C's.
5. Stay in touch with potential affiliate partners. They are busy hunting down traffic. Offer to help them. Provide them with custom content to help market your product. Your affiliates are your sales force, if they win, you win!
That should give you a decent start on growing your internet presence and if you need consultation please contact me (info@crediteria.com)

Keeping Your Business Partners Under Control
In the world of business it is crucial to establish strategic relationships with influential business owners but it is equally as important to ensure those business partners are playing under your rules of engagement.
I am home from a business conference where I learned that some of my business partners have been abusing certain aspects in cross promotions of products and services.
I was not prepared for this so I wanted to share the importance of developing terms and conditions for engaging in promotions as part of your plans for strategic alliances.
More details on how to do this coming soon. I just wanted to plant some food for thought when you pursue business partners.

Online Money Making Mind
I have been operating my online business venture for several years now.
The most common question I get asked is "What does it take for the average person to do what I have done?"
There is a very simple answer to this seemingly tough problem of getting started. Now, are you ready for the answer. Make sure you are seated, I don't want you falling over when I lay down the secret to success. Are you sure you are ready?
Here is the secret to entrepreneurial success:
1. Relentless determination
2. Just do it
3. Fix it later
You must have the desire and be willing to make a few personal sacrifices and then get off your butt and get busy doing it. You are not going to know everything out of the gate. In fact, you aren't going to know what you don't know until you start.
Too many would-be entrepreneurs suffer from a severe case of analysis paralysis, which means too much of trying to figure out every piece of the puzzle from beginnning to end. Very few successful entrepreneurs know the start to finish of their venture, they do know however that to hit the finish line ya gotta start.
So start at the beginning and just do it.

Building Your Online Marketing Channels
I work full time as an affiliate marketer. Which means I promote other people's products and get paid a commission on the sales of those products.
The circles I normally travel are very well aware of the power of affiliate marketing in skyrocketing online sales.
What came as a huge surprise to me was there are still many businesses that are not fully aware of affiliate channels to drive sales. I spoke at the Shareware Industry Conference in Denver last week where I was on an affiliate marketing panel. While there are many who were utilizing affiliate channels to boost their online revenues there were many software vendors who are not agressively pursuing affiliates.
If you are associated with the sales and marketing within your company, you must know that via an affiliate program that is effectively run, your online sales could be double, tripled or even more.
Stop sitting on the fence, get out there and boost your business via affiliate channels. Think about it for a minute - Free advertising until the desired result (a sale) occurs.
What other avenues do you have where you pay for advertising only when a sale occurs?
