Capital One Reviews to be Updated

Hey folks,

I wanted to let you know that we are committed to providing up to date reviews of credit card offers and realize that it has been quite some time since we updated the Capital One credit cards. Please accept our humblest apologies for that!

We will be taking a look at the card offers from Capital One and posting our reviews over the next few days.

Here are the cards we will be reviewing:

Personal Cards for Excellent Credit

If you have Excellent or Above Average credit, all of these statements are true for you:

I have had a loan or credit card for 3 years or more
I have had a credit card with a limit above $5,000
I have not been more than 60 days late on any credit card, medical bill, or loan payment in the last year.

Capital One Cards for Not Quite Perfect Credit

Credit That Needs Some Improvement

All these statements are true for you:
I currently have or have had a U.S. loan or credit card
My credit limit on a current credit card, if any, is less than $5,000
I may have been late on more than one credit card, medical bill, or loan payment in the last six months

The Card Offers:
1. Capital One No Hassle Standard CashSM Rewards
2. Capital One No Hassle PointsSM Rewards
3. Capital One Standard Platinum
4. Capital One Platinum
5. Capital One Classic Platinum


Cards for Little or No Credit History

Here are the requirements to qualify for the following Capital One credit cards:

At a minimum all of these statements are true for you.

Please note these are minimum requirements and meeting these criteria does not guarantee approval.

I have had my own credit card for less than three years or never had one
I have a limited credit history, for example I am a student, or new to the country, or a young person working for a living, or I have been an authorized user on someone else's credit card
I have a valid credit score that can be found at one of the major credit reporting companies
The major credit reporting companies are TransUnion (www.transunion.com), Experian (www.experian.com) and Equifax (www.equifax.com). Please visit these sites for more information.

We will also review the business offers from Capital One however we are going to start with the consumers offers.
