Imagine Credit Card Review
I am writing this review of the Imagine credit card today because I just received a phone call today from a visitor to crediteria.com asking me what is the best credit card for a person with bad credit.
Louise was in a position where some bad choices from the past put her in the spot of having a horrible credit rating and now after some soul searching Louise is ready to fix her credit score.
The reason I recommended the Imagine credit card to Louise was the fact that the Imagine card offers the ability for people with bad credit to rebuild their credit score by using a card with one of the lowest fees available.
The Imagine card provides a low line of credit option of $70 with an annual fee of only $15.
No, it's not a huge line of credit and that's a really good thing! Having a small credit limit will prevent you from getting into financial trouble and will help you restore your credit rating.
The fact is that when you have bad credit there are much higher fees. The Imagine credit card keeps your fees low and reports to the credit bureaus which means you save money on bank fees and you get to restore your credit rating.

I've had a HORRIBLE experience with the customer service rep's working for the Imagine Credit Card. Labor Day weekend my purse was stolen containing my ss card, state i.d. check book and at least 3 credit cards. Unfortunately I did not initially know that my Imagine Credit Card was in that purse as well until receiving a statement w/a bal well over $1000! I filled out the affidavit and all pertinent info requested by the fraud department, currently the charges are pending investigation. My initial reaction was "why didn't imagine catch what was obviously fraudulent activity and notify me immediately?" After going through a HORRIFIC chain of events I discovered that "Direct Pay"-a supposedly convient way of making a monthly payment from a checking account ea. month- was never stopped. Furthermore I'd spoken w/several representatives who did not attempt to stop the payments from being deducted after I filed fradulent charges for gas purchases which were clearly not mine. Lalouise, a cssr supervisor was RUDE, not customer friendly whatsoever, and in an effort to file a complaint to corporate advised me to seek information online. After conveying to this "ambassador" of the company that I did not have easy access to the internet I was told to go to a library! I am flabborgasted! How can a credit card company who clearly collects a substantial amount of compound intrest from consumer's like myself, be so cold and uncaring. The fact of the matter is that rinky dink credit card companies like Imagine deserve to be put on blast! My next step is to contact the Attny General in GA and cc the corporate office after I've done so. My overall opinion about imagine is that they are not a company who believes in "thinking customer first" and without standard customer service (which by the way is not an incentive for using any companies products or service -it should be a MANDATE) is going to eventually go bankrupt. I will not rest until my complaints have been heard and the quality of customer service has been scrutinized and corrected!
