Review Of Capital One Platinum Credit Card
The Platinum card from Capitol One offers a very low annual percentage rate of only 5.9% which is simply phenominally competitive. While the Capital One Platinum does not offer an interest free introductory period like many other credit cards do it makes up for that by offering one of the lowest ongoing interest rates in the business. If you carry a balance on your card and are tempted by the introductory 0% rates, you need to look closely at the ongoing rate as in the long run you might just end up paying more in fees than if you take advantage of the Platinum offer from Capitol One.
If you are considering a balance transfer Capitol One provides you with a no fee balance transfer. They want you as a customer and will not charge you to do business with them as many other banks do. Not only is there no BT fee there is no annual fee as well as a $0 fraud liability! There are several other perks to this card such as:
My overall opinion of the Platinum credit card from Capitol One is that it is a straight-forward offer providing you with a low ongoing interest rate without any complicated bonuses or frills. If you tend to carry a balance on your card and all you want to do is save money on interest charges then the Capital One Platinum would be an excellent choice.

Capital One must be run by former Enron executives because they have to be the most crooked of all the credit card issuers ever. Two words you need to remember if you get an offer from Capital One: don't accept.
