Discover Wildlife Credit Card Review
For those of you who love wildlife and everything about it, you will surely enjoy the look of the Discover Wildlife credit card. Choose from five choices that include designs such as an eagle, wolf, tiger, dolphin or butterfly. You will enjoy an unbeatable low rate of 0% for eight months on your purchases and balance transfers. This is a great opportunity to pay off those high interest loans or credit cards and you will be amazed at the amount of money you will be actually saving. You must remember though that if any payment is late or missed, this exceptional rate will be defaulted and will immediately end. After the last day of this special rate however, the standard APR will change to an estimated rate of between 7.99% and 16.99%. At this time, it is advisable to pay off the balance every month to avoid costly finance charges.
This card also comes with a cashback bonus of up to 2% on purchases made. The amount of money that is spent on the card reflects the cash rebate earned, so therefore, the more you charge to your card the better the reward. If you spend up to $1500, you will receive a .25% rebate and $3000 spent will give you a .5% rebate - spend over $3000 and you will receive a 1% rebate. Rebates that are earned are worth double their value at participating retailers through the Cashback Bonus award program and you can have your bonus doubled into gift certificates at places such as The Olive Garden, Blockbuster and Carnival Cruise Lines.
I think this card is a good choice for those who pay off their balances every month, who are looking for a cashback deal and who want to take advantage of the exceptional 0% interest rate to pay off existing high interest loans. The downside to this card is it's two Cycle Average Daily Balance method, which is a more costly way in applying finance charges for those who occasionally carry a balance as compared to the other methods used by most card issuers.
